Tokenisation

PayVector's tokenisation feature replaces sensitive payment data with a non-sensitive equivalent, referred to as a token, that has no extrinsic or exploitable meaning or value. The actual payment data is securely stored in PayVector's geographically dispersed data centers.

Eliminating payment data from your network is the best way to ensure that your customers' sensitive payment information is safe.

It also simplifies the payment process for your returning customers who can store their card details safely and don't need to re-enter them for future purchases.

Reduce PCI scope

Storing sensitive card information on our secure system instead of your own reduces your PCI DSS responsibility.

What is a token?

A token is a unique indentifier in your ordering system that securely maps back to the sensitive card data stored on PayVector's protected systems.

Increase security

Tokenisation removes individual card data from your systems and replaces it with a unique token which cannot be used by hackers.

Reduce drop out rates

By allowing your customers to store their card data securely they are less likely to drop out at checkout when the time comes to enter card information.
